Real Madrid Count On Odegaard For The 2021-22 Season
According to Marca,’ Real Madrid told him that he would have to return to the Bernabeu in June.
In the January transfer window, Odegaard left Real Madrid. He wanted regular game time, something he was not getting at Real Madrid.
‘Los Blancos’ agreed to send him out on loan until June. Odegaard will remain at Arsenal until then.
Since he arrived, the Norwegian has won over manager Mikel Arteta. So much so that the Spaniard recently said that he would speak to Real Madrid at the end of the season about the possibility of extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium.
But Arteta can forget about it. ‘Marca’ says that Real Madrid loaned him out, making it very clear that he would return to the Bernabeu at the end of the season. They wanted him to get confidence and be on the pitch. So far, he has managed to do both things.
He left Spain with knee problems because of tendonitis, but he has put that behind him. Odegaard is gradually playing with freedom, and Madrid expects him back for the 2021-22 campaign.
