LIVE STREAM: West Ham vs Arsenal – Premier League

Having come short at Old Trafford last week in what was a hugely underwhelming display against Manchester United, David Moyes will be aiming to get West Ham’s unexpected top-four aspirations back on track when they welcome another of the so-called ‘Big Six’ to east London this weekend.

Under Moyes, the Hammers have catapulted themselves into the hunt for European football, a feat few thought possible given the club were fighting tooth and nail at this stage last season to claw themselves away from relegation danger. That West Ham are now fifth after 28 games underpins to influence of Moyes in E20.

Arsenal by contrast have been languishing precariously in mid table for most of the campaign, and now sit 10 points adrift of Chelsea in fourth. The gap between Mikel Arteta’s side and the Hammers could be reduced to just four points if the Spaniard outfoxes his Glaswegian counterpart on Sunday.

The Gunners are currently enjoying a recent upturn in form, coming from a goal down to claim north London bragging rights in the derby last week, in which they inflicted a 2-1 blow on arch-rivals Tottenham, before securing their place in the Europa League quarter-finals, despite losing the second leg to Olympiacos 1-0.
